I have such amazing memories of being here two other times. In the past, we got up at 4 am, came for the tuna auction, witnessed the hustle and bustle of the market, and were constantly in everyone\u2019s way. We also went to a hole in the wall 8 seat restaurant and had probably the best sushi of our lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tsukiji market moved to the new Toyosu market complex in 2018. We went to the old Tsukiji market and sampled sashimi plates from a vendor while standing up outside – no ambience, but good tuna and salmon. Not great prices, but the experience was still fun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So at the end of the day, we probably should have gone to the Toyosu market which would have been slightly less touristy and sat at a restaurant rather than where we went, but we still had a great time and an interesting experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
